The Island of Mystery
The Black Isle sits in the water of the Stitchwort River, just north of the Stitchwort Bridge. Ever since the town of Hidden Rock was established in the early nineteenth century, this small island has been a source of mystery and legend. Townsfolk would often claim to see lights on the island at night or hear singing voices among the rocky outcrops and trees. As the island was never developed, it's remained a pristine pocket of nature surrounded protected by the swiftly moving river waters. Today, the Black Isle is a wildlife sanctuary and not open to the public. |
